Thankfully, Microsoft seems to be aware of the issue and said that they are working with Apple to fix it as soon as possible. It looks like a bug, but any ideas gratefully received. Rebuilding spotlight does not work and many people cannot change to the new version of outlook as they are served by older versions of Exchange Server. There appears from other sites to be a very widespread problem with search not working in Outlook – no results obtained in Monterey- since the latest OS update.

Search not working in Outlook 2019 since updating to Monterey 12.1 on the Mac I know there are messages that contain the search term when I open the Sent folder and can see them. Many say that no results show up whenever they use the search filter, which is really frustrating if you receive a lot of emails and need to search for specific terms. The issue seems to be affecting those running Office 2021. That being said, users are now reporting that the Outlook search filter function is not working after updating to macOS Monterey 12.1.
